Homemade moisturizer with shea butter
Moisturizer is the most important product for your skin whether it is oily, dry, combination or normal. You need to give your skin the hydration it needs or it will become dull and loose it elasticity ultimately showing signs of aging including wrinkle and spots. A good moisturizer will penetrate into skin and hydrate it from both top layer and with in.

Today we are sharing one recipe of moisturizer which will not only hydrate your skin but will also improve your skin texture and elasticity. It can also be used by all skin types and as it doesn't contain any harsh chemical it is more effective with none side effects.

The main ingredient is shea butter which is full of vitamins and fatty acids making it very nourishing and moisturizing for skin. It is also non-comedogenic and therefore will not clog your pores. Its antioxidant properties reduce dark spots and pigmentation while speed up the healing process of acne scars. You will notice more even tone and smooth skin after using it regularly.

Ingredients
  • 2 Tbs Shea butter
  • 5 Tbs Argan oil
  • 1 Tbs Carrot seed oil
  • 5 Drops Lemongrass oil
  • 10 Drops Lavender oil
Directions
Melt shea butter with argan oil on double boiler. When they are well blended remove from heat and add carrot seed oil, lemongrass oil and lavender oil. First mix them well with spatula and then blend with hand blender. While blending you can add 1 tbs of cold water for more fluffy texture

Apart from shea butter the argan oil is also beneficial for skin and is high in of antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and vitamin E which increase skin elasticity, slowing the process of aging and fine lines. It is also not a very heavy oil so all skin type can use it. Carrot seed oil have beta carotene, vitamins A and E which helps for dry and flaky skin while balancing the moisture in it and smooth fine lines. Lemongrass oil have anti inflammatory properties which protect skin against bacteria stopping any breakouts while healing any scars including burn scars or acne. Lavender oil is also anti inflammatory while it calms and sooth your skin. It is very effective for blemishes and acne prone skin.
