Turmeric Facial

You might know turmeric as one of the spices that gives Indian dishes their signature flavor. This herb also helps to even out skin tone. The downside is that it increases sun sensitivity for a few days after treatment. Be vigilant with sunscreen to prevent burns.
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon full-fat powdered milk
- 3 teaspoons honey
- In a small dish, add the turmeric, powdered milk, and honey. Using a whisk or fork, stir until blended.
- With a circular motion, gently scrub your face and other areas affected by hyperpigmentation.
- After scrubbing, leave the treatment in place for 15 minutes.
- Rinse your face. Follow up with your favorite cleanser, toner, and moisturizer.
- Use 3 times weekly until spots have faded.
Because turmeric adheres to the whorls and loops on your fingertips and causes yellowing, it’s best to wear disposable latex gloves for this treatment.
Aloe Vera–Lime Mask

Turns out your grandmother was right: The aloe vera–and-lime combo does fade dark spots. Together, they lighten excess pigment while sloughing away dead skin and promoting new cell growth.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon alcohol-free aloe vera gel
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, add the aloe vera gel and lime juice. Using a whisk or fork, mix until smooth.
- With your fingertips, apply the entire treatment to your freshly washed face.
- Cover with a paper spa mask and relax for 25 minutes.
- Repeat 3 times weekly.
Frankincense Facial

Frankincense essential oil is an excellent weapon in your anti-aging arsenal. The honey and yogurt intensify this treatment, moisturizing while gently exfoliating to renew skin. For pure indulgence, double the dose and apply to hands, neck, and décolletage.
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon yogurt
- 1 drop frankincense essential oil
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, add the honey, yogurt, and frankincense essential oil. Using a whisk or fork, blend until smooth.
- With your fingertips, apply the entire treatment to your face and any other areas with dark spots.
- Relax for 30 minutes, then rinse with cool water.
- Follow up with your favorite moisturizer. Repeat 2 to 3 times weekly
