Oil Cleanser for Clogged Pores
Oil cleansing method has been in talks for quite few years and the ones who thought once that using oil was only for dry akin have changed their mind. Good oil combination can be used for any skin including oily or acne prone. Today i am going to share the recipe which can be used for oily or acne prone skin to clean pores from impurities.

This recipe is an advanced formulation for acne-prone skin in which draws out the dirt and oil which are clogging your pores while replacing them with healthy amount of beneficial botanical oils. As in chemistry of skin care, oil dissolves oil, the basic principle of oil cleansing method. Using this cleanser once a week will make your skin clean, clear pores and slowly remove blemishes.

Ingredients:
  • 4 tablespoons hazelnut oil
  • 2 vitamin E capsules
  • 6 drops tea tree essential oil
  • 4 drops lavender essential oil
  • 2 drops chamomile essential oil
  • 1 tablespoon castor oil
  • 1 tablespoon Rosemary-Infused Jojoba Oil (recipe)
  • 4 tablespoons grapeseed oil
  • 120 ml dark colored glass bottle with dropper or pump
Directions
With funnel pour hazelnut oil in bottle first. Prick vitamin E capsules and squeeze them out into the bottle. Shake well and now add essential oils one by one. Now add castor oil, rosemary infused jojoba oil and fill up the bottle with grapeseed oil. Shake for a
minute to blend. Keep the bottle in dark and cool place. It can be stored for up to six months.

It is best to use this cleanser it night after removing make up. Before using shake the bottle well as heavier oils may settle to the
bottom. Massage a pump or two according to your requirement on your dry skin using gentle circular, upward strokes. Massage for 5 to 10 minutes and focusing on the area which needs attention like wrinkles and clogged pores. Do not be harsh on any active blemishes or recent breakout. The longer you massage, the more debris you will feel.

Now soak washcloth with hot water thoroughly and wring the excessive water. it should not be burning hot but rather the warm enough to be bearable on skin. Now place the cloth on face for steaming out the oil, dirt and other impurities off from your skin. Now gently wipe out skin to remove all this grime. Rinse the cloth and repeat the process for 3 to 5 times.

This method can be used for once or twice a week for starters to deep clean your skin and the you can use it daily for facial cleansing depending on your exposure to impurities and the response of your skin. You might notice some breakouts after cleansing which is normal at start as it draws out the debris out from skin and the pimples were already waiting to be out in few days. Be aware that you should not use an oil cleanser too often or it will dry out your skin.
