Detoxifying Green Smoothie
Smoothies are great way to not only detoxify but they also provide essential nutrients in most natural way and you do not have to take those extra supplements. All you have to do is add vegetables which contain more of the nutrients which you need. As we are becoming more aware of organic living, we are exploring that many disease including the chronic ones like autoimmune disease can be maintained or even cured with eating and drinking right food.

Today we are sharing the recipe for green smoothie which is highly nutrient and have the power of detoxification. Making smoothies are easy and you can even prepare combination bags for easy access.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 green apple cored
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 cup kale or spinach
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/3 cup cilantro
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 1/2 cups water
Directions

1. Simply add all ingredients to blender and blend well into smooth consistency. It is better to drink it right away but you can keep it refrigerated for few days. Remember to always remove the seeds of apples as they are not recommended by naturopaths. However you can keep the peels of all fruits and vegetables but make sure to wash them thoroughly.

To remove wax and other particles from fruits and vegetable, you can soak them in luke warm water for half and hour and the scrub them with brush.
